Ready to Lead.
Already Doing
The Work.
I’m running for Mayor of Pleasant Grove to continue the work I’ve already been doing.
As a City Council Member, I’ve been hands-on with road and infrastructure improvements, community programs like PG Cares and Choose Kindness, and local business growth. I’ve worked closely with city departments and regional partners to move Pleasant Grove forward. I’m ready to lead with experience, energy, and a clear vision for what comes next.

Proven leadership. Real involvement. A vision for the future.
I’ve lived in Pleasant Grove for 35+ years and raised my family here.
Valerie and I raised our three children here all proud PGHS Vikings. I’ve served on the Planning Commission, the City Council, and I currently serve as President of the Pleasant Grove–Lindon Chamber of Commerce. Every day, I work with city departments, small businesses, community leaders, and regional partners to keep Pleasant Grove strong.
What sets me apart is being present. I show up, listen, and work with others to get things done. As Mayor, I’ll continue leading the way I always have through preparation, collaboration, and commitment.

Why Eric?
Why I’m the Right Choice for Pleasant Grove. Real Experience. Real Leadership.
I’m not running to start learning the job I’ve already been doing the work. I bring steady leadership and deep experience in everything from infrastructure and economic growth to public safety and community outreach. Pleasant Grove can count on that.
Proven City Leadership
With 10.5 years on the City Council and 2.5 years on the Planning Commission, I’ve been deeply involved in every part of city government, from budgets and roads to infrastructure, development, and long-term planning. I’ve worked side by side with city departments and staff to move projects forward and make sure our decisions reflect the needs of Pleasant Grove residents.
Worked with Regional and State Partners
I’ve represented Pleasant Grove in regional efforts, worked with state boards, and helped build partnerships that benefit our local economy, infrastructure, and city departments. I don’t just attend City Council meetings. I meet with staff, listen to department heads, and work alongside the people who keep Pleasant Grove running.
Led Major Growth and Infrastructure Projects
As one of four Council Members, including Mayor Guy Fugal, I voted to approve the Valley Grove Freeway Development, a $1.2 billion private investment in Pleasant Grove. The most recent phase alone includes $600 million for a vibrant, mixed-use community. Our residents want responsible growth that brings jobs and opportunity while protecting our neighborhoods. That’s the balance I’ve worked to achieve. My opponent cast the only no vote on this recent phase.
Focused on Collaboration, Not Credit
Leadership is about building consensus and solving problems as a team. I’ve never believed the Mayor’s job is to take the credit. It’s to represent the entire community, advocate for what’s right, and lead with consistency, relationships, and a steady commitment to getting things done.
Invested in Infrastructure That Improves Daily Life
I voted to invest over $30+ million in road and utility improvements across Pleasant Grove. In just the last few years, we’ve seen the most noticeable progress in road repairs and infrastructure upgrades in decades, with more projects on the way. These improvements reflect my belief in long-term, strategic planning that benefits our entire city.
President, PG-Lindon Chamber of Commerce
As Chamber President, I work closely with business leaders, local employers, and developers every day. I’ve built strong relationships with our business community and civic leaders, and I’ve helped lead trainings, support small business initiatives, and bring new opportunities to Pleasant Grove. The Chamber’s motto is “Relationships Matter,” and I’ve lived that every day by staying involved, listening to our business owners, and working together to support smart, community-focused growth.
Trusted by Those Who Know the Job
I’m endorsed by our current Mayor, fellow Council members, and respected community leaders who’ve seen my leadership up close through key votes, community programs, and the partnerships that move our city forward.
