I love Pleasant Grove. My wife, Valerie, and I have called this community home for 35 years. We raised our three children here: Kylee, Jeremy, and Jared. We now have four amazing grandchildren. All three of our kids graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. We are proud to be part of a community that values family, education, and tradition.

Although I was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, we chose Pleasant Grove because of its values, strong sense of community, and the quality of life it offers. It has been one of the best decisions of our lives.

Valerie has spent years serving families and children in Pleasant Grove as a dedicated storyteller at the city library. Our shared belief in giving back has shaped how we live, raise our family, and contribute to the city around us.

For me, public service is about more than meetings or titles. It is about showing up, listening to people, and doing the work. That belief is what led me to serve on the Pleasant Grove City Council, where I am currently in my third term. Over the years, I have knocked hundreds of doors across the city and have had the chance to meet many of you face to face. Those conversations have shaped how I lead and reminded me what truly matters to the people of this community.

Through my time on the City Council, the Planning Commission, and many other roles in the community, I have had a front-row seat to how far Pleasant Grove has come. I also know we are just getting started. The growth we are seeing now is not random. It is the result of years of planning, collaboration, and behind-the-scenes work that I have been directly involved in. I am proud of the progress we have made, and I am excited about what is ahead.

I currently serve as President of the Pleasant Grove–Lindon Chamber of Commerce, where I help support local businesses and strengthen ties between the business community and city leadership. My background in business has taught me the importance of collaboration, accountability, and long-term planning. These values continue to shape how I approach public service.

I have seen firsthand how hard our residents, volunteers, and city employees work to make Pleasant Grove a city we can all be proud of. I am grateful for the chance to be part of that effort and to give back to a place that has given so much to my family.

Serving Pleasant Grove has always been personal for me, and it always will be.
