Ready to Lead.

Already Doing the Work.

I’m running for Mayor of Pleasant Grove to continue the work I’ve already been doing.

As a City Council Member, I’ve been hands-on with road and infrastructure improvements, community programs like PG Cares and Choose Kindness, and local business growth. I’ve worked closely with city departments and regional partners to move Pleasant Grove forward. I’m ready to lead with experience, energy, and a clear vision for what comes next.

- Eric Jensen

Meet Eric Jensen

Proven leadership. Real involvement. A vision for the future.

I’ve lived in Pleasant Grove for 35 years and raised my family here. I’ve served on the Planning Commission, the City Council, and as President of the Pleasant Grove–Lindon Chamber of Commerce. I’ve worked closely with our city departments, community leaders, and local businesses.

What sets me apart is being present. I show up to department meetings, planning sessions, events, and programs that shape our city. This campaign is not about starting over. It is about finishing what we have built together.

Why Eric?

Why I’m the Right Choice for Pleasant Grove. Real Experience. Real Leadership.

I’m not running to start learning the job I’ve already been doing the work. I bring steady leadership and deep experience in everything from infrastructure and economic growth to public safety and community outreach. Pleasant Grove can count on that.

Proven Leadership

With 10.5 years on the City Council and 2.5 years on the Planning Commission, I’ve stayed involved in every part of the city from roads and parks to budgets and development.

Hands-On with City Departments

I don’t just attend City Council meetings. I meet with staff, listen to department heads, and work alongside the people who keep PG running.

Led Major Growth and Infrastructure Projects

I voted to invest over $39 million in roads and utilities, and helped bring over $600 million in new economic development including the Grove Freeway Development that is transforming our city. That project alone is bringing new jobs, retail, housing, and long-term revenue.

Leadership That Puts People First

My approach is collaborative, consistent, and community-focused. This campaign is not about me it’s about us. I’ve always believed in showing up and putting the work first.

President, PG-Lindon Chamber of Commerce

As the current Chamber President, I work directly with local business leaders and developers every single day. I understand the importance of building relationships that support responsible growth and strengthen our local economy.

Trusted by Those Who Know the Job

I’m honored to be endorsed by the current Mayor, council colleagues, and longtime residents who’ve worked with me and seen my commitment to this city.

Voices from Pleasant Grove.

My Priorities

Roads + Infrastructure

Yellow steamroller compacting freshly laid asphalt on a road.

Infrastructure has been a top priority over the past several years and will remain one moving forward. The city has focused on critical services like roads, water, secondary water, sewer, and storm drainage. These services are essential to quality of life, and we must continue investing in sustainable, long-term solutions.

Over the past two years alone, Pleasant Grove has invested over $15+ million into road improvements, resurfacing or rebuilding more than 200+ roadway sections. This year, an additional $13 million in road and infrastructure projects is already in progress. These upgrades also include better communication systems, water quality improvements like chlorination, and pipe replacements.

This work is not just about catching up. It’s about building a reliable foundation for the future of Pleasant Grove.

Economic Growth

Pleasant Grove has become a hub for new businesses, retail, commercial, job creation, and long-term investment.

The Ruth & Nathan Hale Theater in Pleasant Grove, Utah, is a state-of-the-art performing arts facility that opened in January of this year 2025.

Valley Grove development (St. John Properties) of 1.2 billion of retail, commercial and mixed use in our Freeway/Grove Development that I voted for.

Over the past few years, we’ve welcomed dozens of new businesses, including Panera Bread, Wingstop, The Great Greek, Seven Brothers, Chipotle, Kneaders, and many others. Recent additions like Chick-fil-A, Megaplex Theater, and Dragonsteel show that Pleasant Grove is gaining momentum as a destination for both retail and culture.

This growth didn’t happen by accident. It is the result of years of behind-the-scenes work, strong partnerships, and thoughtful planning that I have been proud to support through my role on the City Council and as President of the Pleasant Grove–Lindon Chamber of Commerce.

I will continue to be a strong voice for economic development by supporting a healthy business environment, expanding our sales tax base, and keeping Pleasant Grove open for responsible growth that benefits residents, families, and the future of our city.

Public Safety

Public safety has always been one of my top priorities. I have consistently supported funding for police, fire, and EMS, including voting to improve facilities, invest in updated equipment, and promote competitive wages for our public safety personnel.

I’ve worked closely with our police and fire departments to strengthen emergency response, increase community safety outreach, and ensure our city is prepared as we grow. These efforts help maintain a secure, responsive, and trusted public safety system for all residents.

I take great pride in the men and women who serve Pleasant Grove, and I will continue to support the people and resources that keep our community safe.

Quality of Life

Pleasant Grove continues to be one of the most desirable cities in Utah to live, raise a family, and stay connected to community. As we grow, it’s important that we protect and enhance the quality of life that makes this city special.

Quality of life means more than just open space or clean streets. It’s about access to parks, trails, recreation, safety, and meaningful community programs. Over the past few years, we have seen major improvements across the city thanks to careful planning, partnerships, and long-term investment.

The following improvements are projects I’ve voted for, supported, and worked to bring to life:

  • Discovery (Re-Discovery) Park Rebuild

  • Downtown Park Rebuild

  • Valley Vista Trail Systems

  • Veterans Park Pickleball Courts and Pavilion

  • Rebuilt Tennis and Pickleball Courts at Discovery Park

  • Newly Opened Cook Family Park (25-acre park with splash pad, skate park, pump track, futsal fields, basketball court, all-abilities playground, soccer fields, and more)

These investments strengthen our community, support families, and ensure Pleasant Grove remains a place people are proud to call home.

36% Increase

Making a Better Community for our Families

Quality of Life

We’ve continued to invest in quality-of-life improvements across the city, including the Discovery Park rebuild, Downtown Park upgrades, Veterans Park pickleball and pavilion, expanded recreation programs, and enhanced library services. With the opening of Cook Family Park and additional upgrades underway, Pleasant Grove remains a community built for families and future generations.

$39 Million

Road Budget & Projects

Pleasant Grove has invested over $39 million into roads and infrastructure over the past several years. Our budget has grown from just $289,000 in 2015 to over $11.5 million in active projects this year, with another $10 million planned for the year ahead. The progress is real, and residents are seeing the difference.
